 We miss our students and families dearly. We are working simultaneouly on the 2020 recital and Fall Session. We are planning to open in the Fall with optional Zoom classes for those who do not want to attend in-person classes. We are following the State of Illinois Re-entry mandates as well as the IHSA requirements. More information will be emailed when we have made our schedule and plans. Just a few pictures from our advanced ballet, modern, and jazz students held Friday, July 31, 2020. They were so happy to be performing. The dancers had a red carpet experience, and parents and siblings were thrilled to be watch our modified class performances of Hello, Broadfway!
We are excitedly planning for these outdoor mini performances and praying for good weather and positive health conditions. Regardless where we perform (outdoors, indoors, or Zoom), each class will showcase their dance. We want all of our students, staff, and family members to have fun. Students worked hard all year, and they worked even harder through Zoom meetings on a computer, pad, or phone. And they did great! Our makeshift "stage" in Evergreen Park's beautiful "50 Acre Park" is unique, and our 2020 recital will be memorable. The dances will be professionally recorded and the videos will be pieced together so we will have a very special, unique showcase of “Hello, Broadway!”
COSTUMES
If your child's account is paid in full, but you have not picked up the costume yet, please email us or text at 773-401-6549 to make arrangements for pick-up. At this point, we cannot exchange any costumes regardless of the fit. Please make payments online.
CHOREOGRAPHY
VIRTUAL PERFORMANCE
If you do not want your child to participate in person but would like him/her to be included in the recital video, your child can perform remotely. Please take a video using your phone or another recording device. Use a tripod or prop it up so it is still. Your child’s head and feet should be within the frame. We prefer a plain wall in the background. Please email the video by August 15 to [email protected]. Portions of your video will be imposed within the class performance. Our videographer will create a memorable video of Hello, Broadway! He has been doing this for many Chicagoland dance studios.
