It's not too late to register your child in MDA's Summer Session. If you overlooked it, or was end-of-school-year busy, make sure your child starts next week. Please email us call/text 773-401-6549 if you have questions about classes, camps, or level placement.

Summer classes are essential for dancers who are continuing to dance in the upcoming Fall Session. They will study techniquie and prepare themselves for level placement evaluations for the upcoming 2023-2024 dance year. Students who are on the border can use the summer intensive classes to demonstrate their ability. Students who do not take the Summer Session will be evaluated based on their ability at the end of the Spring Session.

NOTE: Level placements are based on technical ability, application of instruction, confidence, etc. Students in the upper levels do not automatically advance after a few years in one level. The more classes/styles of dance a student takes, the stronger he/she will be as a dancer.

PRINCESS BALLET CAMPS
OUR COSTUMES ARE BACK!!!

We have brought our beautiful princess costumes back! Our costumes were put away for a few years during the pandemic. It's time to experience the full magic of being in costume as the students creatively dance out the story line. The dresses slip over dancers' leotards/shorts and shirt. Students can still wear their own princess dresses, skirts, shirts, hairpieces, etc., if desired!

Ballet shoes or socks are required. Dancewear is available for purchase at MDA.

Our Princess Ballet Camps include ballet instruction, fused with stories and themed crafts, props, costumes, and creative dancing, which make this camp as magical as can be. Each week features a different enchanting princess. We end the camp season with a special princess party. We invite all of the princes and princesses to either a magical princess birthday party or a fancy princess tea party.
MERMAID MADNESS

Join us for dancing, music, storytelling, and crafts during this 7-week MERMAID MADNESS CAMP as we celebrate the new Ariel! Each week dancers will explore a different mermaid or special character through music and dance. Dancers get to create and take home a themed craft that relates to the Mermaid character of the week.

Students can wear their favorite mermaid dresses, skirts, shirts, hairpieces, etc. They can also wear customary ballet leotards/dresses or leggings/shorts and shirts. Ballet shoes or socks are required. Dancewear is available for purchase at MDA.

Special props, music, and dances will make this class as magical as can be for both child and caregiver!

Dress code: ballet leotards or dresses may be worn, but not required for summer camps. Or, students can wear prince or princess clothing, shirts, dresses, hairpieces, etc. Students must wear either ballet shoes or socks.
